Sakkarai Pongal ( sweetened jaggery rice)
Ezhukari kootu ( 7 veg filled lentil gravy )
Thalagam ( Ericha Kuzhambu )
Tamrind rice ( Puliyodarai )
Dal vadas ( Parup vadai)
Not all the above dishes need to be made during festivals but a general menu mostly followed by Tamilians during important festivals.
