In the quest for some easy to make healthy weight loss dishes , I find this meets the requirement. It is very delicious, filling and even one dosa keeps you full for a long time.I usually have this for brunch and it keeps me from snacking in between too till almost dinner time.

1 cup moong dal /green gram soaked for 2 hours minimum.

1/4 cup raw rice or add rice powder while grinding. ( I used millet flour )
1 cup chopped cabbage
small piece of ginger
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 green chillies
salt as required.
A pinch of asafoetida powder
curry leaves for garnishing .
Sesame oil for making dosas ( preferably)

Soak Moong dal, and raw rice for an hour.
Drain and grind with other ingredients.

Take a skillet, grease it, when hot add a ladle of batter and make quick circles like dosas.Keep the dosas a bit thicker than regular dosas.

Add drops of oil along the edges when dosa gets cooked .
Flip to other side to cook evenly.
Remove and serve with favorite accompaniments.

great for weight loss ....suggestions...a handful of oats can also be added. while grinding. batter. While making dosa, if you feel it is too soft, add a little more rice flour to get more crispy dosa.
