Banana split which is supposedly a dessert served with a scoop of ice cream can be turned into super healthy option by serving with fresh thick yogurt.
This is a splendid way to start the day specially in summers when you do not want to bake in the hot kitchens.
The best part about this is you can involve your kids to do this asking them to include their favorite fruits and nuts.You can sneak in some toasted muesli too.
- Just slice a big ripe banana length wise and add a dollop of fresh yogurt.sprinkle some chopped walnuts, almond slivers and add some fresh fruits too.
- You can ad some date syrup if your kids need some sweetener.
- There wont be any need as all the fruits are sweet by themselves and the crunch of the nuts,chunks of toasted muesli gives the feel of having a fruit and nut ice cream.
